Good job. I like the idea. Just one thing - you mean these are games that have native controller support right?

Current device: Acer Iconia Tab A510 (Android 4.1)

Favourite Android games: Anomaly Korea/Warzone Earth, Polara, Rayman Jungle Run, Shadowgun, Wind-up Knight, Auralux, Puddle, Super Hexagon, Devil's Attorney, Heroes Call

Yeah, native support. No Xperia play-only (it's okay if it works with both), no root only/enabled or game keyboard-like things.

Wahoo, battle bears. However, don't you have to root your device or use the MOGA controller in order for it to work? Frankly I just can't wait til they put it on the Ouya. No fussing around then.

BB:R is MOGA-supported, but I didn't know that it didn't have native controller support.

Everything I know is already in your list, James. You know a lot more of them than I do. I have a MOGA and a Zeemote that could get more use, so thanks a lot for making this very long and handy list. :)

ExZeus 2 by HyperDevBox also has native controller support - works with my PS3 and X360 controllers no problem.
Final Freeway 2R is MOGA only - it doesn't work with any of my controllers.

Great thread. I'll update more as soon as I go through my games collection :-)

UPDATE:

*Shine Runner by Vector Unit has native gamepad support, as does Zen Pinball by Zen Studios, along with AVP: Evolution by Fox Digital Entertainment, INC.

*Asphalt 7 by Gameloft has controller support, but it isn't officially a feature. It's automatically enabled if you have a controller connected, and have control method D in the game options active.

*You can also add Time To Rock Racing, and Tiny Little Racing, both by Public Object Games to the list. Both feature native gamepad support, and both are fantastic games. Especially Time To Rock Racing - it's a Rock'N'Roll Racing clone (SNES, MD and GBA), and you can even put your own music into them - I've got the soundtracks to the SNES and MD versions in there, and they're awesome. But back on track, lol.

Aftermath XHD is MOGA & PS3 compatible. Controller support from version 1.7.0 according to the play store description under the whats new tab. Unable to verify this as I'm waiting for my gameKlip to arrive. I've also seen on the gameklip site a video of what looks like Modern Combat 4 being played on wired connection.

The following emulators work on a wired connection with a six axis controller.
Md.emu
Snes9x Ex+
Mame4droid
Mupen64 Plus Ae

You will have to configure the buttons in the settings menu, but once complete retro heaven awaits

Solar Warfare update added MOGA controller support.  It already had some of the best tilt controls I have ever used, but the MOGA controls, Wow!  It's like a whole new game!

I've got a handful of more controller-supported games. But what I've found during my explorations through the Play Store is that 1: There are is a surprising amount of  half-implemented support - which means that movement maybe works, but firing or selection doesn't (which I was exited for when I saw it was available in Towelfight 2, but was disappointed when it didn't completely work). So, your mileage may vary with these games depending on what buttons are assigned to which keys, or whether you own an Xperia Play or, say, JXD 27300 or use touch emulation.

Repulze - Pixelbite

Super Daddio 2 - Glenn Bacon

Solar Warfare - TegTap (It's MOGA enabled, but I'm not sure about HID)

The Conduit HD - HIgh Voltage Software, Inc.

Critical Missions: SWAT - Studio OnMars (It works occasionally)

God of Blades - White Whale Games (Menu navigation isn't controller supported)

Dragon Fantasy - Muteki Corporation (Again, no menu navigation)

Battle Squadron ONE - Cope-Com (No menu navigation)

Jones On Fire - Glass Botton Games (Which is a great game, but has no menu navigation)

OpenArena - Pelya

Shadowgun Deadzone - MADFINGER Games

Cordy 2 - SilverTree Media

Super Hexagon - Terry Cavanagh

The lack of complete support is somewhat frustrating, but I can't say that there's any reason developers should use them. It isn't difficult - It was on the AndroidDevelopers' "Things Every Android Developer Should Know"A lot of this is trial and error, though. I'm going to reach out to people and see what their thoughts on implementing controller support are.

MAME4droid Reloaded also compatible with a wired PS3 controller. Again you can configure the buttons to your taste. You will need at least a dual core device though.

Real Boxing added MOGA controls, and they are game changing.  You can even move around the arena with them.

Now that the MOGA Pro is out, I'm going to get one, and trade in my useless NYKO PlayPad Pro towards it.  Apparently, the latest Nyko Playground update broke PlayPad connectivity, mine included.  Since the MOGA Pro has HID support without needing the MOGA Universal Driver, my PlayPad Pro would be rendered useless anyway.

Dungeon Hunter 4 works with the MOGA natively but it's not fully implemented. You can move, npc dialogue, attack, and use abilities or potions, but menu interaction requires touchscreen.
