The Wii / Gamecube emulator called Dolphin Emu has finally been released onto Google Play for Android devices. It's a pre-alpha build so it's still early but the fact its even here now is a great sign! I, for one, am quite happy about this. Anyone else?

I think this is one of those...Well now I've forgotten the phrase, but you know, a tech demo that you do just to do it, to show it's feasible if maybe not practical.

Anyway, I use Dolphin. I sold my Wii but I still have some game discs left, and still play a few from time to time and you need a fairly beefy computer to run it right and stable while the NDS emulators will run flawlessly on the same PC. So though I think this is cool and I hope development continues, we still have quite a way to go for NDS emulation to be playable on a phone/tablet. So this is I'm sure years away for Wii. Both for hardware and for the emulation aspect.

You know...with so many controller accessories for Android on the way...having emulators for a lot of consoles will be quite the advantage over other mobile OS'...I'm personally all-in for it ^_^

WOW.
Not that this will ever run at a decent speed on my device, but still epic that they're working on this.
