Looks epic! Will this have Infinity Blade style gameplay?

Please don't be a Qualcomm exclusive. I don't have any Qualcomm devices.

I too hope this isn't one of those Qualcomm exclusives on mobile! Even then, seeing Zynga's name there makes me a bit skeptical about the presence of IAPs. How necessary it is to purchase IAPs if one wants to make decent progress with the game?

Otherwise, it's looking good! :)

@Legion

The game is currently in development and we are using a swipe style gameplay in this alpha version of he game, but we're refining the UI from suggestions and feedback we're receiving. The first iteration of the game was a virtual joystick button combination style UI, but we decided that was too cumbersome. Any feedback or suggestions on the battle system will be taken into account (after all we are still developing the title).

@Mikes_phone_and_tab & @Himmat It's definitely not going to be a qualcomm exclusive, but we're currently optimizing for qualcomm devices. Qualcomm's optimization will be first priority, but we are starting to optimize for other processors right now too. We're going to make sure this runs smoothly for as many devices as possible. Zynga is helping us publish the title for web and mobile.

Any suggestions & input about the game is welcomed and will be heard. The game is currently in an alpha state of development, so we're still looking for feedback and good ideas.

Hey dev, thanks for the reply! Good to know it isn't going to be a Qualcomm exclusive.

How does the game play though? Is it similar to Infinity Blade, Horn, Bladeslinger or something else in terms of the slashing element of the game? And just to be sure, is it a screen-slasher or button-masher? Does it have a story?

The first version of the game was a typical virtual direction pad and button system (I think there are videos on youtube on the ipad). The second version of the game had a swipe based battle UI (similar to infinity blade). The current version of the game is a little different as we are working out the bugs from the alpha version of the game. We're also trying to make it more unique. I'll update this thread with screenshots once things are finalized.
