Use cheats in just about any Android game with GameCIH

Posted by AndrewH in Apps & Gaming Utilities on February 06, 2012

Back in the older console day it was always fun to use cheat engines or things like Game Shark to play games with unlimited ammo, unlimited health or all the levels unlocked along with many many other cheats. Now there is something similar on Android called GameCIH.

Basically this works like just about any other cheat engine although there are some things it can't do on all games like unlimited health kinds of cheats. It can, however, unlock all the levels in games, give you a 3 star rating on all levels or get any collectable in a game. It doesn't work for all games but it does work for a lot of them. The developer, b02, over on XDA says it can work on just about any game currently available.

To use GameCIH you will need to be on a rooted device, otherwise it will not work. With that said, here is the quick tutorial on how to use it that b02 posted. This is taking into account you are already rooted:

1.Install it, and open, put it on your phone memory, and give it root access.
2.When you open it, assign a key (i use VOLUME DOWN), don't exit it just use home so you can continue(for exit use menu exit).
3. Open a game that you wish to cheat in. I personally tried it on Defenders game..
4. Start playing the level, and pause it after taking a note how much gold/crystals/stars or anything you have.
5.Press Volume down, Input number, and write amount of gold that you have. It will list a lot of numbers and stuff, 1 of them is our gold.
6.Press back, resume game, continue playing, kill some monsters, earn some gold, then pause again and input the new amount of gold that you have. Now it should list a single number beneath. If not repeat this step.

7.Press on that number, modify it to amount that you want, after pressing okay, you will have the gold you typed in...
8. Now you can go spend what you hardly earned with cheating the game

There are two different versions of the app. One is hosted on the developers website and has extra features while the older one, which is pretty much just the cheat engine itself, is available on the Android Market for free. So if you are up for a little cheating fun in your favorite game, you might want to check this out. Don't forget, you have to be rooted!
