Buddy Rush Review - You and Your Buddies Need to Rush and Get this Game

b_500_274_16777215_0___images_stories_news_buddyrush_buddy-rush-mmorpg-android-game.jpg

If you are a casual or professional gamer and like RPG type games, I suggest you give Buddy Rush a try. Buddy Rush is a cross-platform social RPG game that is playable on your Android device with people from iOS and on Facebook as well.

Name: Buddy Rush | Developer: Company100 Inc. | Genre: Casual | Players: 1 | Version: 1.3.3 | Size: 28 MB | Price: Free |

The biggest thing I like about this game is its cross platform nature. I enjoy gaming on my phone but if at night when I am at my desktop, it is easy to pull up Facebook and knock out a few missions. Please note, you will need a Facebook account to play (even on your phone)

Buddy Rush is a fun, easy to learn RPG game. Within a few minutes I was playing my first mission. Another aspect I like about the game. You do not have to spend hours learning the rules or game interface. Both are very intuitive. After creating your character, you appear in the town square. Once there you have a number of options:

  1. Organize your party-here you can pick who will go with you. You can pick 2 others, either computer characters or others Facebook players.
  2. Gifts from friends-here is where you can collect your mail.
  3. Check-up yourself-here you can equip yourself and see your inventory.  You get 30 slots to begin with. You can sell your stuff here too.
  4. Buy some stuff-here is the store. Your main currency is potato chips. You name it, you can probably get it here. You can earn free chips by downloading and trying out other games. You will earn some as you go along, but also you can purchase them with real money. The other currency are green bugs. You again earn these and make them by selling your stuff. Some items in the store can be purchased with the bugs but the key items will require potato chips.
  5. Upgrade your skills-as you go through missions, you will earn skill points which can be used to upgrade skills.
  6. Let's fish-a side game you can do and earn some extra prizes.
  7. Challenge-open to players level 40+ (have not gotten there yet).
  8. Raid- where you go after select monsters, again for players level 65+
  9. Mission- here is all the action.  From there area, you can choose the chapter and mission you wish to play.

Yes there is a lot to the game! The missions do not take a very long time so if you only have a couple of minutes, you should be fine. The controls and screen layout are great. You can easily access your skills, inventory, and pause the game if needed.

So how do you play? Just tap on the screen to where you want your party to go and off they go. If you want to attack, tap on the target and they will attack. Sometimes a treasure reward will appear, simply run over it to collect. If you want to use one of your specialized skills, tap the appropriate button and you will use it. Like I said, very straightforward.

Another term I would use on the game is “cute.” The graphics, characters, currency, dialog are all cute (this is not a knock at all) making this very family and kid friendly.

Some other key components:

  • 15 customizable characters to choose from
  • 10 different chapters and 92 missions to play
  • Over 2000 items you can earn or purchase

For the game BuddyRush, you get a simple, family friendly, cross platform RPG game with tons of options, character customizations, and super replay value. Downloading this is a no brainer if RPG is your style of game. I look forward to future updates.
