Epic space adventure game Galaxy on Fire 2 coming to non-Tegra devices this year

One of the most in-depth action/adventure games for Tegra 2 Android devices as well as the Xperia Play is Galaxy on Fire 2 from Fishlabs. Unfortunately for anyone who doesn't own a Tegra 2 device or an Xperia Play, you haven't been able to play this game (unless Chainfired of course). That, however, is about to change.

Fishlabs has released an outlook post as to what you can expect from them, mostly regarding Galaxy on Fire 2, for Android. For those of you who have been waiting to play this on your non-Tegra Android device you will be pleased to know that the wait is almost over.

According to the outlook post, Galaxy on Fire 2 will be available for the most popular Android devices in Q1 2012 with the possibility of additional less popular devices being supported in the future after that. The pricing shouldn't be a whole lot different if at all. For those of you not familiar with Galaxy on Fire 2, it is a pretty epic, in-depth space action game where you will complete missions and quests, engage in space combat, buy new ships and customize them with all sorts of upgrades and weapons, all wrapped up in some pretty detailed and gorgeous 3D graphics.

Unfortunately there is no exact date set yet as to when Fishlabs will launch the new version of Galaxy on Fire 2 for other Android devices, only that it will be in Q1 2012. For those of you curious about the Valkyrie add-on (currently for the Xperia Play only), it too will be coming to both Tegra and non-Tegra devices although that will be later on. Fishlabs current focus is to bring the actual game to non-Tegra Android devices first.

Thanks to Marcus for the tip!
