While there are no shortages in ways you can wirelessly play and control your/with Android device, Brass Monkey has developed an app that will allow gamers to run games on the browser and use their Android device to interact and control their games.
By partnering with Emotely, the technology turns your favorite browser into gaming consoles. As demonstrated on the video below, players will be able to use a smart phone to simulate a golf swing, rotate and twist the device to control their avatar, all reminiscent of a Wiimote. A friend can even step in with their own Android/iOS smart phone for some multiplayer split-screen action.
The technology certainly looks amazing, and the startup has impressed investors as well. Brass Monkey announced that it has raised $750,000 in financing. While this certainly won’t appeal to many, the idea of using your phone to play with a friend using nothing but your browser is intriguing. Expect to see the Andoid version to hit your Android device by March.
