Rockstar confirms that Max Payne is coming to mobile devices in the next couple of months

Back in September 2011 we reported on Rockstar Games and the fact they would be bringing Max Payne to mobile devices. We also confirmed that this does include Android as well as iOS back then. We now have a little more information about this topic.

If you doubt our word on the subject or that of our tipster (shame on you!) then feel comforted in the fact that Rockstar Games has pretty much confirmed all of this happening. Yesterday they released part 2 of their Q&A session regarding Max Payne 3 and in that session there was this little gem:

Yes – following the release of Grand Theft Auto III for iOS (and Android devices) late last year, the original Max Payne will be our next release for mobile devices. We will have an official announcement soon confirming the release date, but you can expect it to finally be released sometime in the next couple months.

This little bit of information pretty much confirms it is coming to Android but aside from that, it actually gives us an idea of when to expect Max Payne to arrive. Apparently it will be heading our way in the next couple of month and you know what that means? We will be testing it out soon and showing it off to you, our readers, should Rockstar send us an advanced copy of it like they did with Grand Theft Auto III.
