One of the bigger complains recently has been that Gameloft has not brought support to their games for the Asus Transformer Prime. Well it seems as though this could be changing as the recent content patch for Order & Chaos that happened today also seems to have brought compatibility to the quad-core tablet. Two weeks ago Rockstar Games announced that there was a slight delay with the release of their upcoming Max Payne game for Android. Through an update on their Twitter account, Rockstar Games stated that the reason for the delay back then was do to last minute testing that needed to be done, mostly revolving around device compatibility.
nVidia celebrates Tegra Zone's first birthday, gives away seven Asus Transformer Pad gaming packages
nVidia's Tegra Zone is having its first birthday and to celebrate nVidia is giving away seven Asus Transformer Pad packages over the next few weeks (starting this week). Let me start by saying that these Asus Transformer Pad packages are pretty bad-ass but, of course, you want to know how to enter to win right? So on Thursday we decided to give away an Asus Transformer Prime along with a Keyboard Dock and a $25 AMEX gift card to celebrate the release of Dark Meadow: The Pact for Android Tegra 3 quad-core devices. Well I'm sure everyone is eager to find out if they have won. Another Tegra-based Android game has arrived on Tegra Zone called Eden to GREEEEN THD from iNiS Corporation. We actually got a chance to sit down and play Eden to GREEEEN THD at GDC 2012 with Keiichi Yano, Chief Creative Officer for iNiS Corporation and the game is quite fun. One game a lot of people have been waiting for lately happens to be from Phosphor Games called The Dark Meadow. This game has been in the news a lot lately, especially after receiving 'The Pact' update on iOS. Well after waiting all this time, we get to grab both the original and 'The Pact' all at once as of right now. You know we just love giving stuff away here at DroidGamers and once again we have teamed up with nVidia as well as Phosphor Games to give away some more goodies. This time it is for a Asus Transformer Prime Tegra 3 quad-core tablet, the dock for the tablet and a $25 Amex gift card to help stock your new tablet. NVIDIA's own TegraZone is a dedicated app to showcase Tegra exclusive games. New owners of Tegra powered devices can look no further than (except Droidgamers of course) this app to find news and upcoming games and essentially anything Tegra related. With the release of NVISION, the company looks to go beyond gaming and cover all manners of entertainment. Yesterday we reported on Madfinger Games' titles disappearing from the Google Play store. Both Samurai II: Vengeance and Shadowgun, along with all version of each game, had gone poof and vanished for some unknown reason. Well the good news is they are back on the Google Play store as of last night and here is what happened. Everyone loves a sale and when it is about games or gaming, we like to think we are all over them as much as possible. However, once in awhile we miss spotting one here and there. Thankfully other sites spot these ones like today's rather huge sale on both Splashtop Remote Desktop HD and Splashtop GamePad THD which are both on sale for $4.99. Bigger really does mean better for the folks at Toshiba. The company recently announced a few new tablets that will be released starting in May. Toshiba will have the normal 7.7 and 10-inch Excite tablets, but it will also sell another tablet with a massive 13.3-inch screen on June 10 for $649.99 (32GB). It looks like April is shaping up to be a great month regarding Android gaming in general but also for Tegra-based devices as well Jett Tailfin Racers just came out, Demolition Inc and Dark Meadow are both slated for release this month as well. Now we have another title coming our way this month called Hamilton's Great Adventure THD. A new Tegra-based game has arrived onto Android for both Tegra 2 dual-core and Tegra 3 quad-core devices. Coming from developer Hoplite Research, this new racing game is called Jett Tailfin Racers and features underwater racing as fish in the same quirky style that you would find in titles like Mario Kart. When Grand Theft Auto III was released onto Android, at around the same time Max Payne was also announced for mobile but with no specific platforms being named. A lot of guesses were rolling around that it would be iOS only until we confirmed it would be coming to Android. Well Rockstar Games has now officially done so publicly with a release date. |
