Qualcomm wants to break a Guinness World Record at E3 2012 with some of you

Qualcomm is setting out to break a Guinness World Record at this year's E3 conference by holding what they hope will be the longest video games marathon. At E3 2012 Qualcomm, along with qualifying participants, will be sitting down for at least 26 hours playing Android games on a Samsung Galaxy 8.9 tablet.

Extended E3: Rusty Hearts, an impressive blend of action and MMORPG genres. Also win a beta key!

Rusty Hearts by Perfect World is a very artistic action/MMORPG game that focuses heavily on the action part when it comes to actual combat. We were waiting on publishing this article so we could give you, our readers, a chance to win beta keys into the closed beta that starts July 27th!

What we were hoping to see at E3 but unfortunately didn't.

Taking a break from all the E3 news we still have to finish getting to all of our readers, we wanted to share with you what we were hoping to see at E3 this year. Unfortunately, some items we were eager to view were not there. There were also some things this year at E3 which could have been improved.

Hands-on with Dragon Nest by Nexon at E3. A proper way to blend genres.

We mentioned before we would be covering other non-Android gaming related stuff from E3 and this would be one of those things. Nexon came out strong this year with two solid titles that are coming our way to PC soon. Dragon Nest especially caught our attention with it's great blending of gaming genres.

Hands-on with Spacetime Studios upcoming MMORPG, Star Legends, at E3. Also win a pin!

One of the things we were really looking forward to was getting some hands-on time with Spacetime Studios' upcoming MMORPG for Android (and iOS) called Star Legends. We also really wanted to check out how the game would handle using the Xperia Play controls. We were not disappointed at all.

Ubisoft developing a game for cross-platform play with all types of device dependent controls

One game that was at the OnLive booth was a neat little game called From Dust which is being developed by Ubisoft. While the game itself is pretty interesting, one key feature that really stands out is that it will be cross-platform compatible, across most platforms, with all types of controls.

SilverTree Media developing new game for Android called Sleepy Jack. Looking mighty nice already.

You've probably heard of Silvertree media by now but if not, then you have probably heard of their game that they have released, the awesome platformer called Cordy? Yes those guys. Well they are currently developing a new game for Android called Sleepy Jack and it is shaping up real nicely.

Halfbrick officially shows off Machine Gun Jetpack at E3. Coming soon to Android.

Halfbrick Studios will be releasing their upcoming side-scrolling action game Machine Gun Jetpack onto multiple platforms including Android. Back during GDC 2011 we got to play with it and it was seriously fun. Since then there have been improvements made and new features added.

Hands-on with OnLive running on the Motorola Xoom at E3

One things we really wanted to do was get some hands-on loving of OnLive's service with the universal remote running on Android. While they had an HTC Flyer on display where you could look at it and get a preview, the great folks over at OnLive brought us in for a great hands-on with OnLive on the Motorola XOOM.

Hands-on with Minecraft on the Xperia Play, otherwise known as mobile crack.

One of the first things we did the moment E3 started was head over to the Sony Ericsson booth to get a hands-on with Minecraft (and numerous other games) on the Xperia Play. After playing around with it for awhile, we came to realize one thing. If you already like Minecraft, you will be in trouble.

Hands-on with Shadowgun from Madfinger Games. Serious visuals and new info!

Before the doors even opened for E3 to start, we met up with Madfinger Games, developer of Samurai II: Vengeance and the upcoming game Shadowgun. We got a chance to sit down with them and have a good talk as well as get some hands-on time with Shadowgun.

Microsoft's E3 website jumps the gun a bit, reveals Halo 4 and more

Not enough coffee this morning perhaps or possibly just over excited but someone jumped the gun a little bit over at the Xbox team and let loose a bunch of information of what Microsoft is planning to announce at E3 this year. You had to be quick though, it was only live for a couple minutes.

Blacklight Retribution to be shown off at E3. Official trailer included.

While we will be at E3 covering all the Android stuff that will be there, we also know that most of our readers are also gamers when it comes to PC and console. That is why we will be covering all that tasty stuff as well while we are there. Today we got the Blacklight Retribution game announcement in our inbox.

Pocket Legends gets an update. Hints at in-game E3 event!

Spacetime Studios just pushed out another update for Pocket Legends and while it was mostly geared towards a couple of improvements in-game, there was one note in the changelog that is catching everyone's attention. This note was about E3 event preparations.

Gameloft and friends to unveil more games temporarily exclusive to the Xperia Play at E3

Gameloft have apparently been busy the last few months as word on the internet is that they plan to unveil more games at E3 2011 which will, yet again, be temporarily exclusive to the Xperia Play. This means that these games for one month will only be available to that device. After that it will be made available to others.

Wednesday Morning WTF: Minecraft fans make a map of the Earth in-game... and it is (almost) to scale!

Since Minecraft is being debuted on Android next week at E3, we figured today's WTF segment is a nice way to get you a little more revved up for it. Granted it will be exclusively for the Xperia Play at first but will land on other Android devices soon after. Today, we have a custom map that is just insane.

Spacetime Studios' upcoming 3D MMORPG gets a new official name and new teaser site.

We have reported on Spacetime Studios' upcoming cross-platform 3D MMORPG called Blackstar over the past couple of months. We are slowly getting closer to release time and you can already, for a small fee, reserve your character name in this upcoming MMORPG. However, it has a new official name!
