Yesterday we talked about the popular iOS puzzle game Trainyard, developed by Matt Rix, that Noodlecake was planning to release today onto Android. Well if you were waiting for this challenging puzzle game to arrive, it has now landed on the Google Play store. Along with its arrival, we now know what next week's game will be as well.

Last week we talked about a new racing game for Android called Lunar Racer which was the first game released under Noodlecake's rather ambitious Game-A-Week project, or GAWP for short. This project is about Noodlecake bringing popular iOS games over to Android, releasing one a week.

A popular puzzle game from iOS has finally made its way to Android. Developed by games2be, Plopp is a rather colorful and interesting chain-reaction puzzle game where bubble-like circles called 'Plopps' appear and grow on your screen.

Hothead Games have published the award winning Steampunk themed adventure game from Amanita Design called Machinarium onto the Google Play store. As you know we just love unique indie games with a unique art style to them and Machinarium falls right into this category.

By now you are probably aware that Rovio has a new franchise up their sleeve based on the Casey's Contraptions iOS game which they just confirmed yesterday that they bought the IP. Well we now have a few more details about what this new game will be and for starters it will be called Amazing Alex.

Yesterday we reported on news that Rovio and their Angry Birds Franchise had been downloaded over a billion times across all platforms and game titles. Along with this announcement was a Thank You video from Rovio which we suspected to be teasing a new game based around Casey's Contraptions, a popular iOS title.

Statistics... who doesn't love statistics? Especially when they involve massive numbers that make you go 'DAMN!'. Well Rovio has pumped out some statistics today about their Angry Birds franchise and their revenue and yes, it includes big numbers.

Another Android game developer has released multiple titles today. BulkyPix.AMA has released two new unique games onto the Google Play store called Pix'n Love Rush which is full of retro goodness and Burn it All which is a sort of action puzzle game.

You may be familiar with who Atomicom are as they are the developers of the popular Bang Bang Racing THD game for Tegra-based Android devices as well as their other racing game called Switch for all Android devices. Well over the weekend they decided to release four new games onto Android.

There is a new puzzle games that has landed on Android called Zombie Granny. Developed by I-Free Innovations, Zombie Granny is not your typical zombie game as it is filled with lots of mechanical puzzles and humorous characters as opposed to zombies just relentlessly trying to eat your soft and delicious brains.

Recently one of the developers from Halfbrick decided to venture out on his own and create his own game development studio called Total ArKade Software. Their first game has finally been released onto multiple platforms including Android is called AbraWORDabra.

Nevosoft, developers of the Dream Sleuth and Mysteryville hidden objects games, have released another hidden objects game onto Android called Magic Academy: Part One. Like their previous hidden objects games, Magic Academy also comes with other puzzle to solve and mini-games to complete.

Herocraft has made a deal to bring Colibri Games' popular puzzle / hidden objects game to Android called The Tiny Bang Story. On sites like BigFish Games and Gamehouse, this is one of their more popular games, which eventually reached the Top 10 on both in the casual games category.

There is a new Reflections style puzzle game on Android called Monkey King Quest by Socosoft. This game is in a top-down isometric type of view which gives it a sort of 3D look to it. However, this isn't just a Reflections puzzle game as the developers have added a lot to change things up.

Zeptolab has just announced on their Cut The Rope Twitter account, and pushed to the Google Play store, that the DJ Box update has arrived for their Cut The Rope game on Android. This update brings new levels as well as a new mechanic to the game which you will need to master in order to complete these new levels.

The folks over at Slashgear have made an interesting observation over today's Angry Birds Space update which could be a hint at things to come in the future, or not. However, the inclusion of what looks to be the pink Simpsons donut, being munched on by an Angry Birds pig, seems to be an interesting little visual.

While not the biggest update in the world, Rovio's Angry Birds Space has just received an update that fixes a few bugs that was causing the game to crash on older Android devices. Aside from that though, it does bring some new levels along with the bug fixes.

It seems I may have been a little bit harsh with Gameloft over the last few weeks. I slated the new Dungeon Hunter game, and exposed several problems with games when using Ice Cream Sandwich. This time I'm here to talk about their latest release, Shark Dash.

A few days ago we talked about Gameloft and that they were gearing up to release their first physics-based puzzle game onto mobile called Shark Dash. Well for those of you who have been waiting for this game, it is now available on the Google Play store.

It seems like everyone loves getting in touch with their inner Picasso. Since it launch in February developer OMGPOP's Pictionary-style game has reached over 50 million downloads in basically 50 days. Now officially the fastest selling mobile game in history, it has surpassed Rovio's latest game, Angry Birds: Space.

YoYo Games have done quite well on Android since they started releasing games onto the Google Play store. While a majority of their titles are unique games, they have just released a couple of remakes for some classic games called Simply Minesweeper and Simply Word Search.

Back in the beginning of April 2012 we talked about two games that Gameloft seems to have been working on, one of which they were hinting on Twitter, Facebook and Google+ with witty pictures of sharks. When we reported on these two games, that is when we figured out that the shark pictures were to build hyper for their upcoming Android game called Shark Dash.

For those that go where no man has gone before, internet wise, for free application and games, may want to reconsider. It seems that a version of Rovio's newest hit, Angry Birds: Space, is laced with malware and found floating (no pun intended) around. If the copy of Angry Birds: Space currently installed in your device came from anywhere but Google Play, you may be putting yourself at risk.

Hot off their successful Angry Birds Space release a few weeks back, Rovio turned their head towards their OG older title.  Over the weekend the company released an update called "Surf and Turf " comprising of 15 brand spanking new beach inspired levels, just in time for the warmer weather.
