Traffic Control games have been around for some time. In general these games are fun, fast, and potentially frustrating games. You can't just sit back and relax. In today's review, we will be comparing two new Traffic Control Games: Car Conductor: Traffic Control from DroidHen and Train Conductor 2 USA from Voxel Agents. NeonPlay is getting ready to release their rather good looking traffic control game, called Traffic Panic 3D, onto Android soon. Traffic Panic 3D, while being a standard traffic control type of game at it's core, is treated with some great eye candy to make it stand out from the crowd of current traffic control games. Let us start off by saying, if you are a fan of trains in any sort of way either with trains sets or just watching trains, you'll pretty much wet yourself when you see this upcoming game for Android. Properly called Trainz, developed by n3v games, this is a hardcore realistic train simulation game with a ton of goodies at your disposal. All your traffic control style game lovers out there have something to be happy about. Instead of the usual 'do not let accidents happen' type of traffic control, whether it is with cars or airplanes, Astral Commander throws in a sci-fi twist with robots and Starcraft style mining goals. Control your robots, collect mines to complete each stage! Bendroid, developer of some major hit games such as the Mystique series and Tangram Pro, just released another game to add to their list called CarWash 3D. This is a traffic control type game where you guide cars into your carwash and make money. The contest is for the person who has the highest score across all three online high score boards will win a Motorola Droid. If there isn't enough traffic control games on the Android market already, here is another one for you to play called Gridlock, developed by No Patience Software. Like all traffic control games that deal with street traffic, the object of the game is to stop and start cars in the hopes that they don't smash into each other. Too many crashes = game over. AutoTrafego, developed by Speknid & Neato Code, is a traffic control game but not exactly how you think it would be. Instead of drawing lines to direct traffic like previous games such as Flight Director, Flying Aces or any other traffic control game out for Android, your only task is to control the traffic lights, ensuring that traffic is flowing smoothly. In the spirit of line drawing games where you control an items path with the line you draw such as in Flight Director comes another game similar to it called Flight Frenzy by Big Fun Games. Like Flight Director, you control the fate of airships (and their passengers) by plotting a course for it to land safely while trying not to crash into the other airships you're controlling. |
