Namco Bandai generally releases their games onto multiple platforms including both Android and iOS as well as consoles. In fact they have more games released on other platforms aside from Android. However it appears that Namco Bandai are gearing up to release a new RPG that will be exclusive to the Android platform.

The hit iOS game Dungeon Crawlers from Drowning Monkey Games, which we reported on in January of this year, has made its way over to Android in the form of a temporary Xperia exclusive. While these exclusives are usually solely for the Xperia Play, this particular one is for all Xperia brand smartphones, not just the Xperia Play.

Usually when we talk about a board game being converted over to a mobile format for Android. However, we get to report on the exact opposite of that for a change which is also highly unusual. D20 Studios, developers of the popular multiplayer strategy game Hero Mages, has just been picked up by Game Salute and will have Hero Mages published as an actual board game.

It seems a lot of classic games are being remade and revamped for release on mobile. Another one in currently in the works called The Bluecoats - North & South which is being remade for mobile by Microids. For those of you unfamiliar with this game, The Bluecoats is an action-strategy game set during the Civil War period.

It was only yesterday that we mentioned Digital Tales would be bringing their Battleloot Adventure turn-based strategy games to Android and now we get to report that the game has been launched and is now available on the Google Play Store.

Herocraft has announced that it has acquired the license for the PC game Disciples III and will be bringing it to mobile devices soon. Yes, this does include Android. This game came out for the PC back in 2010 and its actual full name is actually Disciples III: Renaissance.

Ah yes, one of those generic 'mobile' type of announcements but considering who it is from, there is a good chance that Android will be one of the platforms to get the new mobile version of the Total War series from The Creative Assembly and Sega.

Back in August 2011 we talked about a neat game that would be making it's way to Android called SQUIDS. Developed by The Game Bakers, SQUIDS is a blend of turn-based tactical strategy gaming with RPG elements mixed into it. The good news is, it is now on the Android Market.

I have seen the game Age of Conquest in the app market for some time but had not gotten around to trying it. As a fan of strategy games, I decided I needed to, and I am glad I did! Age of Conquest is an awesome little game for those who enjoy turn-based strategy games on the go.

Sega's Fallen Realms RPG for Android has gotten a rather large update today for Valentine's Day. You can now share the love of Valentine's Day but kicking people's asses in a new PvP battle arena but that is just one feature this new update brings to the game.

Boostr and their multiplayer card battle strategy game, Urban Rivals, is now available on the Android Market. If you have played any sort of TCG like Magic: That Gathering then you already have a pretty good idea of what to expect.

It has been a little bit since we have done a Hidden Gem article and even though some of these indie games we talk about could fit into that category, there is one new title this month that warrants it right now and it is called Arenas Trail of Valor by EmeryOnGames.

One of the better turn-base strategy games available for Android has just gotten a little bigger today. Rubicon has released a sequel to the original called Great Little War Game: All Out War onto the Android Market and boasts "fiendishly challenging levels".

Back in November 2011 we got to get some hands-on time with ngmoco's upcoming RPG called Skyfall. At that point it was also gearing up for a closed beta round of testing which we gave away 500 invites for. Now the beta is going to a live Private Beta status.

Every so often we get a week where a lot of what we report on is about games making their way to Android in the near future. It's Monday and it already is shaping up to be one of those weeks. Another game that will be making the jump to Android soon is Dungeon Crawlers.

Back in November we announced that Hero Mages by D20 Studios was finally available on the Android Market. This is a cross-platform multiplayer tactical strategy game that also blends in elements of RPG (leveling, items, etc) as well. This particular title is rather detailed as well as it includes things such as LOS (Line-of-sight) and other features normally not included in these types of games.

Fully titled Call of Cthulhu: The Wasted Lands test, indie developers Red Wasp Design is planning to bring their new title over to multiple platforms in the near future including Android. As you may have guessed, this game is based off the works of H.P. Lovecraft's series of novels from the 1920s.

For those of you unaware of what Orcs Must Die! is, it's a game similar to Dungeon Defenders except you'll be placing a variety of traps and other painful things, and sometimes even support troops like archers, to kill waves of monsters, mostly pissed off Orcs and similar creatures. Trap Hunter TD bring this type of game to Android.

D20 Studios developed this gem of a game and it’s pretty under-the-radar. I don’t think I would have even known about this game if DroidGamers hadn’t mentioned it before I started homing my blogging craft (which is very much a work in progress). So I decided to take the game for a spin, and I’m absolutely glad I did.

Proving that sometimes even the best sites sometimes miss under the radar games, Xenowar was recently released to the masses in the Android Market.  For those of you who remember the true X-Com (and not that FPS title currently in development) you are in for a real treat.

At first glance and its title, Great Little War Game (GLWG) one might think this is a cute kids game. Well let me tell you it a very well done strategy game that will provide many hours of game play. So sit back, get prepared and ready to wage war.

We have been reporting for awhile on a tactics-style strategy game that comes with cross-platform multiplayer called Hero Mages from D20Studios. This game has been out for awhile in a browser version and was slated for release onto Android. Well the good news is that it's now available and we've got some goodies to give away to help celebrate it's launch.

Sega has teamed up with Papaya Mobile to bring their free-to-play RPG to Android called Fallen Realms. This is a more old school style RPG title that will feature a tapping control scheme instead of the usually virtual joystick so that you can just tap to go places instead of using the joystick.

Fans of the Highborn series are getting some good news today as the second chapter in the series is now available on the Amazon App Store. For those of you who don't know much about this game, it is a turn-based strategy game with a bit of RPG and action mixed into it for good measure.

Invictus Games has released their mobile version of their PC/Console game Greed Corp. Invictus Games is also responsible for the upcoming Race of Champions game for Android which looks pretty slick itself. Greed Corp HD is a turn-based strategy game that also takes into account the effects of resource gathering on your lands environment.
