There are two major Pinball platforms on Android, Zen Pinball and Pinball Arcade. While Zen Pinball and their developers, Zen Studios, create tables from scratch and are themed in various manners like with all the Marvel based tables they have, Pinball Arcade is the faithful digital recreations of actual physical Pinball tables you used to play on in the arcade back in the day. Developers of the mobile version of one of the best shooter games from back in the day have released a new free lite version of said game. Luckily for us, Google Play is on the list. One of the bigger complains recently has been that Gameloft has not brought support to their games for the Asus Transformer Prime. Well it seems as though this could be changing as the recent content patch for Order & Chaos that happened today also seems to have brought compatibility to the quad-core tablet. Two weeks ago Rockstar Games announced that there was a slight delay with the release of their upcoming Max Payne game for Android. Through an update on their Twitter account, Rockstar Games stated that the reason for the delay back then was do to last minute testing that needed to be done, mostly revolving around device compatibility. There's a huge advantage in the mobile gaming market nowadays, that has become crucial for a big amount of developers: you don't need to make an eye-popping games full of superb graphics to be successful. Back near the end of April 2012 we posted an exclusive hands-on of The Binary Mill's upcoming racing game called Mini Motor Racing. This game features a top-down perspective similar to other mini-car racing games like Reckless Racing and some very slick visuals and customization. Stereoscopic 3D is something you either love or hate. There really is no in-between with it. Most people find it pointless while others do enjoy it and occassionally a company will still produce and Android device with it such as the WikiPad. We have seen some good examples of stereoscopic 3D as well as horrible ones. |
