SEGA and Hailo team up to bring real life Crazy Taxi to New York Comic Con

SEGA and fast growing e-hail app Hailo have teamed up to bring a sort of real-life Crazy Taxi experience to New York Comic Con which will be happening October 9th and 10th. This rather creative experience was thought up to help celebrate the addition of Hulk Hogan to the recently released mobile game Crazy Taxi City Rush.

SEGA and Hailo will be operating an official Crazy Taxi City Rush cab to give New York Comic Con attendees a free and safe ride from the Javits Center to their desired location. Additional cabs from Hailo will also be wrapped to look like vehicles from the Crazy Taxi City Rush game. While there will be vehicles that look like they are from the game, there will only be one cab from the game available. People who hail a cab through the Hailo app will have a chance at being randomly picked up by the official Crazy Taxi City Rush cab.

For those of you not familiar with this whole Hulk Hogan thing going on, basically for the entire month of October 2014 players of Crazy Taxi City Rush can hire Hulk Hogan as their cab driver, complete with his voice and likeness. Players will even be able to customize their in-game taxis with Hulk Hogan themed goodies.

Once inside the official cab, riders will have a chance to win some exclusive prizes including signed Hulk Hogan merchandise. There is also the possibility of Smosh Games’ David “Lasercorn” Moss showing up in your cab ride and essentially hold a trivia contest with you for additional prizes aside from the Hulk Hogan signed merchandise. The official cab will be running between 12:00pm-7:00pm on October 9th, 2014 and 10:00am-7:00pm on October 10th, 2014.

No word yet as to whether or not your taxi driver in the official cab will drive like a maniac at times to scare the crap out of you.
