Unity3D expands the first wave of games for the Xperia Play with two new additions to the line-up

Unity3D and their business unit, Union, announced a few games that would be available at the time of launch of the Xperia Play located in the Play store. Unity3D, however, decided to tack on a couple more titles for the first wave of games that will be available at the time of launch for the Xperia Play.

Originally, three titles would be made available on the Xperia Play store through Union: Racer by Luma Arcade, Guerrilla Bob by Angry Mob Games and AirAttack HD by Art in Games. All three games would be available with full Xperia Play control support. Instead of only three games though, Unity has expanded the initial wave of games to 5 instead, adding two more to the list: Battle Bears -1 by SkyVu Pictures and Cordy by Silver Tree Studios. Both games will also be fully Xperia Play compatible and available through the Play store.

While Cordy is a great game, it will see some benefit from the controls the Xperia Play has. Battle Bears -1 on the other hand will be a perfect game for the Xperia Play controls as it is an action-packed fast paced shooter game with pissed off bears. It is a great game and one I’ve been waiting to come to Android. Now if only I owned an Xperia Play.
