Rovio has announced via Twitter that The Daily will be getting an exclusive guide to Angry Birds Space, Rovio's upcoming newest addition to the Angry Birds franchise. This new game will have us flinging the birds in outer space and it is said that NASA and Nation Geographic are helping out with this game.

Well here is a neat little application for all of you Mario Kart 7 fanatics out there. Developed by gingerbreadman (hah!), Combo Explorer is a nice utility application to help you figure out the best combinations to use with your karts in order to get the best times in the game.

Android users know that there are a number of apps which allows you to use your Android device to act as a controller and vice versa. Heck, you can even your Android device to control another Android device. Orthogonal Labs, Inc. is looking to join in on controller fray with WanderPlayer.

Sony's upcoming PlayMemories service and application suite will be launching this March (if all goes well) and along with it will come an application for Android as well. The entire PlayMemories suite will actually consist of four different parts: PlayMemories Studio, PlayMemories Online, PlayMemories Home and PlayMemories Mobile.

Valve has released an update for their Steam for Android mobile application. The update brings a few changes, some new little features and better application stability just to name a few things. The IBF Programs Steam application is also back on the market under a new name.

Back in the older console day it was always fun to use cheat engines or things like Game Shark to play games with unlimited ammo, unlimited health or all the levels unlocked along with many many other cheats. Now there is something similar on Android called GameCIH.

Well it appears that the soft launch for Gameloft's Xbox style social service, called Gameloft Live!, has ended and now it is available on the Android Market. If you nabbed this application during the soft launch, the only way to get it was through Gameloft's own store.

One bane of Android gamers is when a game is released and their device isn't supported. About 90% of the time, the game in question will actually run fine on any particular device in question, it is just that for whatever reason a developer has chosen not to support that particular device. At least not that the current time you are trying to download it.

In a random act trying to stay relevant, Yahoo has added a new “Apps” category to its search bar with little to no fanfare. Unveiled last week, the search giant allows users to search from a number of apps and games from the comfort of your home.

It’s no secret that Gameloft likes to take liberty with inspiration when it comes to major triple A blockbuster games. Modern Combat, N.O.V.A., Backstab, Gangstar, 9mm, Order and Chaos, should be all familiar to those who own a PC or console for the past five years. This time Gameloft may have outdone themselves with Gameloft Live.
