From the crew that brought you Battle for Mars, Retro Defense and the cool application Slide Screen comes Gurk. This is a great looking old school 8-bit RPG for your Android phone that boasts a file size of just over 100k installed. How great is that for those of you wanting an RPG title but not wanting all your space horded by one.

Don't let the file size fool you though, this game comes packed with all the RPG goodness you could want and all the great 8-bit graphics you can handle. Controls are easy and all touchscreen.

Features:

  • Awesome 8-bit graphics
  • 3 Member party that you control
  • 24 Dungeon Levels
  • 44 Different items
  • 23 Unique monsters
  • Pixels... lots of pixels!

When you really want to go old school with your RPG gaming on your phone, you now have a choice thanks to Larva Lab. There are other graphical rogue-based RPGs out there on the market that are good but this one is pretty slick.

You can pick this little gem that Larva Labs released quietly onto the Android Market for free! Go try it out if you like old school RPGs. You should check out Battle for Mars (with multiplayer) and Retro Defense while you're at it.
