Another game, or series of games actually, that we got to check out and get some hands-on time with back at CES 2011 was Hardwood Solitaire IV by Silver Creek Entertainment. This game is actually a set of 10 different solitaire games to play but unlike most solitaire games for any system, visually this game was stunning.

Wrapping traditional styles of solitaire games with gorgeous graphics almost makes it seem like a reinvention of the old games. Animation of the cards was also incredible smooth regardless if you are tapping or dragging the cards around the playing area.

Solitaire titles include:

  • Archway
  • Backbone
  • Easthaven
  • Forty Thieves
  • Freecell
  • Grandfather Clock
  • Klondike
  • Memory
  • Spider 1 Suit

If you have a Tegra 2 Android device already and enjoy card games of a solitary nature, then you'll want to grab this off the Android Market. Each solitaire game features all its own eye candy to make playing solitaire more enjoyable. You can download this now for $4.99. Expect more card games coming soon from Silver Creek Entertainment, we've played some of them already and they are all great.
