Pokemon Tower Defense now available. Much more then a tower defense game though.

A new tower defense game has arrived on the Android Market, themed around Pokemon which we are sure a lot of you Pokemon buffs will be happy about. It even features cool retro-style graphics but when looking at this game as a whole, there is a lot more to it then just a Tower Defense game for Android.

While true to tower defense gaming, you'll be doing the usual gameplay of setting up defenses and killing enemies. However, as tower defense games go, that's about it for this game. The are some really interesting features though such as finding more Pokemon to use, the fact that they actually evolve and learn new moves is also going to make you Pokemon buffs happy.

• Featuring the original 151 pokemon!
• Level up your team and bring them into battle.
• Classic Tower defense gameplay.

As you can tell by the feature list, this is almost a blend of tower defense and RPG gaming. Currently the developers are siting this game as being in the Alpha stage of development but for an Alpha, it's pretty solid already. Beta version should be pretty impressive at this rate. So has this got you all excited and you're ready to play? Well good cause it's also free to download off the Android Market.

Unfortunately, this makes for a very addicting mix of gameplay. God help us all on the time we will lose as we try to catch them all.
