Homerun Battle 3D by Com2Us has been out for awhile and is still a favorite among gamers who enjoy sports games, especially if you like hitting homeruns all the time. Com2Us announced that a big update is coming to this addictive multiplayer game in the shape of a seasonal event as well as Xperia Play controls.

First, if you haven't heard/played Homerun Battle 3D the point is to beat your opponent by slugging the most homeruns in a match, a homerun derby if you will. You can play in single player mode or jump online and get matched up against other player around the world.

Features:
▪ Online match-up mode (head-to-head against rivals and friends)
▪ 3 extra modes: Arcade, Training, and Classic modes
▪ Player customization (Self-ID creation)
Body: face, hair, skin, etc.
Look: jersey, pants, cleat shoes, glasses, eye patches, etc.
Baseball equipments: bats, gloves, helmets, etc.
▪ 7 types of item balls with different attacking and defending abilities

The upcoming update will have a 'seasonal event' which will start March 31st and go on until April 20th where you can earn twice as many 'winpoints' when you win. Also coming along with the update are some minor bug fixes as well as new controls optimized for the Xperia Play. Definitely a game worth considering if you like baseball and plan on getting an Xperia Play.
