If you are an owner of the PSX4Droid ver.2 emulator which emulates Playstation games, you'll be sad to know that it has been pulled off the Android Market due to, according to Google, violations regarding the Android Market content policies. Developer ZodTTD, however, is blaming the launch of the Xperia Play.
While the Xperia Play launch is a possible cause for the emulator to be pulled off the Android Market, a second emulator is still available. If it is due to the launch of the device then wouldn't the other emulator, FPse for Android, be yanked off as well? ZodTTD announced on Twitter that it had been pulled yesterday but we held off on writing about it until we could gather more information.
Unfortunately Google has not really told ZodTTD anything new this morning and unfortunately for PSX4Droid owners, ZodTTD is concerned about releasing it onto the Amazon App Store due to the fact that current owners would have to repurchase the emulator again to receive update. We will keep following this until we know more and will post updates.
