We have been hearing for awhile about PopCap bringing some of their big games over to Android. Two specifically mentioned, and highly wanted, games are Peggle and Plants vs Zombies. We have heard and reported on numerous occasions different time lines from PopCap. It seems we now have a bit more of a definitive answer.
According to a Tweet from PopCap, we can expect to see Plants vs Zombies land on Android in the first have of 2011, roughly sometime in the next 2 months. That is certainly a lot better than previous statements of "some time in 2011" or "soon". Why the hold up on getting Plants vs Zombies to Android? Why is PopCap Games the last major flash game site to really get into Android? No real reason has been mentioned as far as we know, just some vague statements in the past.
At least we know now that Plants vs Zombies will lands in our lifetime on Android for us to play before we turn into zombies ourselves.
