It looks as though Gameloft is testing the waters of the Android Market once again. after a very long period of time with none of their newest games being released onto the Android Market, Gameloft has finally let one go called Modern Combat 2: Black Pegasus. Is the end near?

In all seriousness though, Gameloft seems to be testing out the Android Market again. Until now, there have just been some of their old titles available with every new game they have came out with since Asphalt 5 being available only through their online store. However, it will still be compatible with select Android devices so you could download the game and find out that it will not be compatible with your particular Android device. Most newer devices should be compatible though.

On another note, should you want to buy Modern Combat 2: Black Pegasus off the Android Market instead of their store, you'll be dropping an extra $2 for the benefit of the Android Market. Instead of the regular $4.99 price tag, you'll be dishing out $6.99. A small price to pay for some of you who have been refusing to buy their games until they are on the Android Market. Well there is a new one now, go get it. Cheesy Trailer included below for your viewing pleasure.

Update 10:58am May 11th, 2011: Gameloft has also mentioned that they will be releasing more games onto the Android Market in the near future with the next one being Asphalt 6.Thanks to marianop89 for the heads-up!
