It may or may not be Halo with a new chapter added onto the name or it could be a completely different game. The fact is though that Bungie is up to something when it comes to mobile gaming thanks to their latest Trademark application for the name "Crimson" and some new job postings to top it all off.
The name Crimson has the following description in the Trademark filing:
It appears to be pretty obvious that they are up to something gaming related but if that isn't enough proof, Bungie also has some job postings to reinforce the point a little bit more. The are currently looking for a Senior Mobile Applications Developer with 'comprehensive understanding of at least one current mobile SDK (iOS, Android, Windows Mobile, etc…).' Other than that though, we are left with no other information to go on so it is up to our imagination as to what may be heading our way.
So, with that said, who wants to take a stab at what Bungie will be bringing? Halo? Something else? Let us know!
