Awhile back we mentioned an RPG that was being developer by Mika Mobile called Battleheart. Featuring art that is a bit out of the norm when it comes to RPG titles (usually it is either pixel art or 3D) and a rather deep storyline, it has been a hit since it's recent release on iOS. Now it's available for Android.

Some people may not like the art that comes with Battleheart, especially if you're a purist and need your RPGs to be either pixel art or 3D. Battleheart comes with simple touchscreen controls and a pretty solid storyline to go along with the unique art that seems like it would fit more into a Flash game. Similar to the comic book style graphics you'd find in other games like Samura II: Vengeance.

Features:

• Easily command your army via simple touch commands.
• Create a unique party from numerous character classes, including stealthy rogues, powerful wizards and stoic knights!
• Customize your heroes via dozens of unique skills - literally hundreds of class and skill combinations!
• Make the most of your party's skills to control the battlefield - turn your opponents into frogs, stun them with poisons, or simply destroy them with meteor strikes and whirlwinds of steel!
• Over 100 unique items to collect and equip across a 30+ level campaign, complete with epic boss battles!
• Put your custom party to the ultimate test in survival arenas, where rare and unique rewards can be found!
• Incredibly sharp animation and art designed specifically for cutting edge mobile devices!

If you get a bit frustrated with the campaign mode, you can always take your party into the arena and battle it out and hopefully win some new rare items at the same time. That, of course, means you actually have to win in the arena. You can pick Battleheart off the Android Market for $2.99. Mike Mobile do plan to bring more of their games to Android as well.

Thanks to Roger L. for the tip!
