If the name of their new studios, Puppy Punch, doesn't get you giggling even a little bit then perhaps the title of their first game that is entering closed beta testing will do the trick. Called 'A Game with Balls' or AGWB for short, this will be their first release and will land on multiple platforms including Android.

Puppy Punch Productions will be their new studio focusing on mobile gaming development for multiple platform which, obviously, includes Android. Their first release that is just entering a closed beta is a game titles "A Game with Balls". While AGWB is entering a closed beta for iOS devices, they are working on a possible closed beta for Android as well. The game will land on Android but for right now the closed beta is focused on iOS and should you get picked and are dubbed 'The Best Tester', you will receive a $100 US iTunes gift card for all your hard work with playing with balls.

Aside from the fact that we know balls are involved, the only other information regarding this game that we have so far is what is available on the official game site and the one screenshot we have. Here is what it says so far about AGWB:

  • Action through Inaction - Less is more. Often a well-placed, small ball is better than a pair of big ones
  • Beautiful Hand-Drawn Art - Play with balls your way: unique themes allow you to customize your experience.
  • Tons of content - 3 different modes and 50+ levels insure you'll be playing with balls for a long time.
  • Simple yet Skillful - Anyone can touch to play, but you'll need to use your Brains AND Balls to survive.

It sounds like a pretty solid title already. From the screenshot above, we can also figure out that you will be controlling a gun (in the center) using the two gears on either bottom corner. It looks like you have to get rid of all the balls on each stage and as you shoot them, they split into smaller ones.

As we get more information and screenshots, we will keep you up to date about AGWB. Considering this is coming from the makers of Dungeon Defenders, you can expect a pretty awesome game. If you have an iOS device, you can head over to the official AGWB website to sign-up to try and enter the closed beta.
