As we mentioned yesterday, PopCap Games is finally releasing a couple of titles on Android. While Plants vs Zombies is slated for 'later this month', Chuzzle was set to launch today and indeed it has. It will be available exclusively on the Amazon App Store until May 30th. After that it will be available on the Android Market.

To celebrate the launch of Chuzzle, Amazon and PopCap Games are giving it away as a free download today. Chuzzle is your basic match-3 type of game with a few unique little features. Arrange 3 or more of the same colored chuzzle on a line then pop them off the screen. You can also use Scrambles which scrambles up the board should you get stuck.

Features:

  • Color-match Chuzzles for points
  • Beware of Puzzle Locks
  • Play four game modes: Classic, Speed, Zen, Mind Bender
  • Win trophies

Requirements and unsupported devices:

  • Must have Wi-Fi connection to download
  • Chuzzle will not run on these devices:
  • --Sony Ericsson X8
  • --Motorola Droid (OS 2.2 only, OS 2.2.2 or higher will run fine)
  • --Motorola Devour
  • --LG Ally
  • --HTC MyTouch 3G
  • --Samsung Transform
  • --Sanyo Zio

Instead of having power-ups appear, you will also be able to use various types of chuzzles to help you out. Sort of like Angry Birds with the different abilities each bird has. You can pick Chuzzle up right now on the Amazon App Store for free for today only. After that, it will cost you $2.99 so now is the time to get it if you can access the Amazon App Store.
