Awhile back when news about PopCap getting into the mobile gaming arena with Android broke, two games were mentioned. One was Plants vs Zombies while the other one was Peggle. Out of left field arrived Chuzzle first with Plants vs Zombies next in line. PopCap has also now dropped hints that Peggle is to arrive shortly.
PopCap’s senior director of product and business strategy for mobile, Giordano Bruno Contestabile, dropped a big fat hint in an interview with gaming site Gamezebo.
Robot Unirocn Attack fits this description which is already out on the Android Market from Adultswim which leaves one other game that has the awesome combination of Unicorns and Rainbows. That game would be Peggle. While it seems to have taken forever for PopCap games to land on Android, now that Chuzzle is available it looks like the ball has started rolling at a much faster pace. Peggle was recently slated for a Summer 2011 release time frame and it looks like everything is on time for it to meet that release time.
So fear not Peggle fans, the game is on it's way and should be here sometime this Summer!
