Disgaea for Android, where the hell is it? We have the answer.

Since we posted the story about Disgaea coming to Android on May 16th, that date has come and gone with no signs of it appearing in the Android Market. Lots of our readers have been asking the obvious question, where the hell is Disgaea? Well we got in contact with developers Nippon Ichi to find out exactly that.

However, the answer may make some of you have a sad face for awhile. We asked the developers straight out where the hell was Disgaea for Android after a few sites, including us, reported on it coming to Android on May 16th. The answer to the question at hand is that it is currently available for Android on the market... in Japan. In other words, it hasn't been translated into English yet. Unfortunately, the person we talked to didn't have any sort of time frame as to when it would be translated and made available to the rest of us.

If you have been reading our site for awhile, then you know we won't stop hounding Nippon Ichi until we get a better grasp as to when it will be made available in English for the rest of us. So keep your eyes on us as we will hopefully be able to update you in the next few days with more information and a better idea of when to expect Disgaea to be released in English. Looks like we have to wait a bit longer to play it.

Side Note: Please be aware that there is an app (a theme actually) called Disgaea based off the game. This, however, is not the game. We thought we would add this little PSA just so you don't go rushing out and buying it only to find out it is just a theme.
