Got to give it to our friends down in Australia to come up with an unusual fad called Planking. If you don't know what that is, Planking is the action of lying face down with arms to the sides of the body, in unusual public spaces and photographing it, like on a police car for example.
I guess as of late though there have been a few mishaps related to planking. I'll let you imagination run wild with that as I'm sure you can guess some possibilities as to what has happened. Either way, N3V Games, who has brought us My First Trainz Set and the soon to be released hardcore train simulation game called Trainz, will be releasing a game called Plank'd shortly for Android. The whole idea of the game is to 'plank' on various objects in the environment to earn points. The trickier the plank, the more points you earn.
Features:
Me planking someone's grandmother
Currently you can play Plank'd through your browser on your PC over on the official game site to get a feel for the game. New locations and characters are slated to arrive in an update but whether these will make it into the game before it is released onto Android is unknown at this time. If they don't make release, they will arrive in an update. For now though you can plank all you want in the downtown level and choose one of the three available character which includes some guy wearing a pot, cape and just his underwear.
So, this brings up a good question. Have any of our readers done any planking? If you do, make sure you do it safely.
