First there were Angry Vikings, now there are Happy Vikings! Lots of booze included.

At first we had Angry Vikings which was a game that tried to stuff as much blood into it as possible without going overboard and ruining it. Now we have a new game from HandyGames called Happy Vikings and while there is no blood involved, there is plenty of booze and gold instead. Must be why they are happy.

Happy Vikings is a unique game coming from the HandyGames crew who always seem to come up with interesting themes and new twists for games. This new title from HandyGames blends the platform and block puzzle genres into one entertaining title with barrels of booze, piles of fish and gold chests as some of the blocks.

Features:

  • Action-packed platformer & block puzzle mix
  • 50 challenging raids
  • Mighty combos and eye-blinding special effects
  • Hard Rock soundtrack for true Viking
  • Full OpenFeint support with online leaderboards and 40+ achievements

Achievement addicts will be happy to know there is a ridiculous amount of achievements to earn in Happy Vikings. Over 40 of them to be exact. The whole point of the game is to stack your loot in matching piles and hopefully getting some combos at the same time. You can also stack ancient runes to earn favors (re: Power-ups) from Nordic Gods. Happy Viking is also Xperia Play optimized for you Xperia Play owners out there.

As with all HandyGames, there are two version available. There is a full free version with ads and optionally a paid version with no ads, both are full versions though. You can pick either one up right now off the Android Market and get your loot stacking on.
