Sometime we witness growth so great that we end up going "WTF" when reading the news. Well this is one of those cases where the numbers are just so massive that believing it at first can be difficult. Today, OpenFeint is reporting such a scenario with their member growth.
OpenFeint just dropped the press release stating how their growth has been doing since they were acquired by GREE for $104 million cool ones. The result so far? OpenFeint is now adding over 3 million Android users a month. Yes you read that right, 3 million. the number of games with OpenFeint integrated into them has now reached 460 with the new addition of 16 more titles being released as well.
“Developers want tools for better engagement, more ways to make money, and effective distribution channels to reach players. We’re happy that developers continue to see value in OpenFeint’s cross platform feature set,” says Eros Resmini, SVP of Marketing at OpenFeint. “We’re committed to building the best tools in the business.”
