Another week and another Gameloft game is announced. This time around it is an official game and not one that is unnaturally close to another game on another platform. Today Gameloft has released a trailer to their upcoming game, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Shadow Vanguard.

Rainbow Six will be another title as well that will be a temporary exclusive for the Xperia Play. If they follow the same pattern, Rainbow Six will remain an exclusive game for the Xperia Play for one month before landing on other compatible Android devices.

Some Features:

  • 3 New members join the Rainbow Six team
  • 11 Missions around the globe
  • Highly dynamic real-time tactical system to test your wits and skill
  • Solid 3D graphics

If you've ever played a Rainbow Six game on PC/console then you already know what to expect from this release. If you haven't, the Rainbow Six series of games is a FPS (First-person shooter) type of game where your job is to stop whatever terrorist threat is planned to happen. Rainbow Six: Shadow Vanguard will be available June 3rd, 2011 for Xperia Play owners while the rest of us have to wait till around July 3rd to get it. pricing should run at the standard $4.99 mark as well. No word yet as to whether this will also land on the Android Market.
