Konami Digital Entertainment releases classic X-Men game onto Android... quietly.

It seems as though Konami enjoys taking the road less traveled and instead of advertising all over the place that they have released a game, they are more than happy to just release it quietly. This time it comes in the form of the 1992 classic game X-Men. Time to kick some villain ass we think.

This X-Men game is the same one from 1992 where you would play as the good guys and battle it out with a variety of the X-Men's enemies including Magneto himself. You can choose to play as Cyclops, Colossus, Wolverine, Storm, Nightcrawler, or Dazzler. Once you pick your character, it will be time to smash your way through multitudes of sentinels and enemies. Other enemies you will have to fight include Pyro, The Blob, Wendigo, Nimrod, The White Queen, Juggernaut, Mystique. All the controls are on-screen using a virtual joystick and buttons.

So if you are in the mood for some classic ass kicking gaming, you might want to check this little gem out now that it is on the Android Market. X-Men will set you back an easy $2.99. Thanks to Androinica for tweeting it was out, otherwise we wouldn't have found out till later!
