Order & Chaos MMORPG from Gameloft will get cross-platform gameplay soon

Yesterday saw Gameloft's entrance into the MMORPG arena on Android as they finally launched Order & Chaos. The second part of the good news was that it was available on the Android Market instead of the usual format of having to go to their own storefront. So where is everyone?

Well word is now out that, even though this is an MMORPG, it isn't cross-platform just yet. So Android gamers will only be playing along with other people who have compatible Android devices. Well Gameloft has come out to say that a future update will bring the whole cross-platform experience. In other words, it is only a single platform MMO game as of right now. That sort of takes out the whole 'massive' part in 'massive multiplayer online' but there will be your fellow Android gamers roaming around and leveling up.

So if you were wondering where the hell all the players are that you were expecting to be there, since it has been out for over a month on iOS, that is the reason why Order & Chaos doesn't seem as populated. No word on exactly when this feature will be pushed out.

On a side note: A lot of people are wondering why their device isn't supported just yet when it comes to Order & Chaos. The word out on the street about it is simply a resolution issue when it comes to the graphics. Expect more devices to be supported soon. A full list of currently supported devices can be found here.
