Spacetime Studios is gearing up to launch a limited beta of their upcoming MMORPG for Android (and iOS) called Star Legends: The Blackstar Chronicles. In the world of mobile gaming though, there is always a catch and this has one as well. The limited beta for Star Legends will be on Verizon's V Cast Market.

Not sure how Verizon manager to snag this partially exclusive limited beta for Star Legends but Verizon customers are in for a treat. However, if you are not on Verizon, there is still hope for you to get into the beta. Sorry iOS players, you won't be able to participate due to Apple not supporting limited releases. So what about everyone wanting to get into the beta but happen to not be on Verizon?

Spacetime Studios will be giving away beta keys through select gaming sites through contests and giveaways. So you will still have a chance to win a beta key and get in. Will we be giving away beta keys? You will have to keep your eyes on the site to find out! Beta will be starting soon though so you won't have to wait long to find out! Until then you can check out our hands-on of Star Legends at E3 2011.

Thanks to Shane for the tip!
