It seems Gamevil knows that, even though they have many in-house hits themselves, helping developers and buying IPs can also be very successful. With that said, Gamevil has announced a $10M partner fund for developers to strength their list of quality smartphone games.

The $10 million fund will be to continue their current success they have had with purchasing games or partnering with game developers to have their games released under the Gamevil name. So far, almost each one release has been a hit which includes titles like Kami Retro and Touchmix. This isn't including their iOS hits as well such as Air Penguin.

Gamevil has already started using this fund to acquire exclusive publishing and partial intellectual property (IP) rights of the Cartoon Wars series of games which include Cartoon Wars, Cartoon Wars Gunner and Cartoon Wars 2, just to name a few. While all this is great for developers, gamers were not left out of their recent announcement either.

Gamevil Live, their social game platform, was also announced that it will be revamped. After Gamevil Live is revamped, it will be rolled out onto currently published titles and hints at even including it in their Zenonia game. No more details were really given as to how or what will be revamped in Gamevil Live though nor was any sort of date given as to when it will roll out. As always, full press release below for all the details.

There are a lot of companies with developer funds and more will come as well in the near future. It is a very good time to be a mobile game developer.
