The week in World of Midgard MMORPG news: 1st closed beta date has moved, more videos!

Continuing on with our series of updates regarding the upcoming mobile MMORPG called World of Midgard, we do have some new information about the upcoming 1st closed beta that was supposed to start on July 11th. Of course we also have a few new videos as well of more mobs that will be in-game.

Regarding the first closed beta, the date has been moved from the 11th of July to the 18th of July. Why the delay of 7 days? Technically they are not ready just yet. There are a few outstanding bugs that need to be fixed such as terrain fixes (so you don't fall through the world), protocol fixes and a couple of minor fixes so that there is an instanced dungeon in-game during the beta with mobs to fight. The first closed beta is more of a preview version of the game so actions and other features will be limited, for example, the only attack that will be usable will be the melee auto-attack. Spells and other actions will not be available in this first beta.

There will also only be one quest where it will be simply you going out and killing a certain number of mobs. A seven day delay is nothing major though, especially for people like us who have been waiting for some time already. Aside from that though, everything seems to be going good development wise and of course the developers have released a few more videos of mobs that will be in-game.
