Storm8, if you don't know who they are, are like Zynga in that they are a social casual game company but unlike Zynga, who is just getting into mobile gaming, Storm8 has been focused on the mobile gaming arena for awhile. Storm8 already has 8 titles available for free on the Android Market and today they are announcing three more.

Boasting some pretty impressive player statistics such as 210 million downloads across all platforms. Between all their games they have 20 billion meals are served daily in its games. Four billion items are sold daily, and 100 million crops are planted daily. That adds up to a lot of players.

They have three new titles that will be announced today for Android called City Story, Fashion Story and Zoo Story. Like the word 'Doodle', it seems as though adding 'Story' to the end of your game title is becoming popular. Thanks Kairosoft! However, interestingly enough, all three games have been released quietly onto the Android Market a couple of days ago despite the lack of a formal announcement and can be found under the name Team Lava. Team Lava is Storm8's internal game development group.

All three games feature in-game purchasing which makes them freemium games. You can download the game in full for free with the option to buy extra products, or in this case virtual items, for real cash. Unlike all the other games Storm8 has released, these are actual games whereas their previous titles are more static MMORPG titles like Mafia Wars. These new 'Story' games are as they sound when it comes to what they are about. In Zoo Story, you take care of exotic animals and show them off to paying visitors. Fashion Story you run your own fashion shop and try to make money from customers by offering trendy designer clothing. Finally, inn City Story you run your own city. Essentially it is like Sim City.

All three games have a ton of features including unlocking new items, other players can visit your store/zoo/city, and all come with in-game purchases. All three games are available on the Android Market for download for free.
