Syphon Filter 3 and WipEout now available for the Xperia Play.

Sony has released a couple more Playystation One classic games onto the Android Market for the Xperia Play. Syphon Filter 3 and WipEout are both now available for purchase for fans of the originals to play. We should mentioned that Sony should take a few lessons though on how to take good screenshots.

Every game Sony has released for the Xperia Play has been accompanied with one, and only one, terrible screenshot. While previously mentioned a couple months back that Playstation One game sales on the Xperia Play were a bit disappointing so far, one way to help improve that would be to include more than one screenshots which, usually, is very blurry and makes the game look less than good.

Be that as it may, fans of these classic Playstation One games will be happy to know that you can get both now on the Android Market. For those of you who have not had the pleasure of playing either game on the Playstation One, here is a quick rundown of each game:

WipEout - This is a futuristic racing game where you race in hover ships. As you race you can collect power-ups, shields, missiles, turbo boosts and other toys to use to help you win each race. Think of it as Mario Kart but in the future.

Syphon Filter 3 - SF3 is an OTS (over-the-shoulder) action game where you play as Gabe Logan and Lian Xing who are accused of spreading the deadly Syphon Filter virus. Your mission is to prove that you didn't do it and find out who did. This, of course, is done by using plenty of weapons and killing off all the bad guys.

Both games are available on the Android Market for purchase and will set you back $6.39. Now if only we could get games like Final Fantasy 7 on there. Both games landed on the Android Market yesterday.
