The week in World of Midgard news: Pre-beta 3 days away, first 100 testers announced and more videos!

It is time for our weekly update about the upcoming MMORPG for Android called World of Midgard. We have been following the progress of this game for awhile now and the closed pre-beta, otherwise known as an alpha usually, is only three days away from starting!

On top of that, the team over at World of Midgard have announced the first 100 pre-beta testers. These do not include people who have bought the 'Founding Fathers' Lava Dragon mount which also entitles you to be apart of all the betas. So without further delay on my part, here are the first 100 beta testers, using their forum names, for World of Midgard.

If you are on that list, congrats! Unfortunately I don't think any of us here at DroidGamers made the cut which is too bad. Hopefully we will be in the next round of closed beta testing. The pre-beta will actually be a bit bare bones and it is recommended that you read this thread over at the World of Midgard site so you know what to expect with this pre-beta round. To give a quick summary though:

• 100% working chat. Chat UI is still designed for developers so scrolling is a bit weird
• 3 Quests
• The overall interface and UI is still in developer format. You know that weird looking UI you see in the videos? That one.
• No jumping or swimming
• No effects in the pre-beta at all.
• Test for bugs!

With that being said, the development team is labeling this as a pre-beta development preview so don't expect all the bells and whistles to be in place yet. A lot more in planned for the 2nd pre-beta round. Now onto the videos! Here is the latest selection of videos from World of Midgard showing off more mobs and bosses that will be in-game.
