Two indie platform games that may be coming to Android soon

There are two new platformers that are being developed, one already is out for iOS, that may soon be making their way to Android as well. While both are platform games, both have completely opposite gameplay styles. Let us introduce you to Idyllic by FatCowGames and Wyv and Keep by A Jolly Corpse.

Idyllic by FatcowGames is a persistent runner platform game with an evironmental theme to it. As you are running and jumping from island to island, which generally are floating, you will be converting the polluted land into new clean land. This isn't the main interesting part about this game though. What is pretty interesting and unique is the gameplay. You will be able to control the power, speed and angle of your jumps. This leads to some pretty intense looking gameplay considering you'll be able to control all these things with each jump that you make while persistently running.

Idyllic is set to release sometime this Summer on iOS and the developers are seriously considering bringing this over to Android as well. Let's hope they do. Until then, we get to enjoy a preview trailer.

The second game is from a developer who has a great name, A Jolly Corpse. Just like their name, their game Wyv and Keep is a great looking retro-style puzzle platformer. You might already be familiar with this type of gameplay from older arcade games where you have to solve each stage by moving items, dodging enemies and so forth. What's really interesting about this game though is that two players can play in Co-op. You can even lift up the other player to boost them to a platform. While this is great, hopefully this gets brought over to the Android version as this could make for some interesting gameplay with a friend on your Android tablet.

Currently Wyv and Keep is still being developed by the developers, A Jolly Corpse, plan to bring this to all platforms including Android. However, if you can't wait to play this game and are not satisfied with the video trailer below, you can always download the preview copy that is available for free and play a few levels on your PC. When Wyv and Keep is released for PC it will be $7.99 so expect a similar price range for the Android version.
