Jaws will be swimming in the waters of Android soon

Bytemark Games has released a version of Jaws onto iOS sometime ago and now Connect2Media is planning to port that version over from iOS to Android. While this version will be based off of Bytemark's original version for iOS, there may be some subtle differences between the two versions.

Bytemark's version is actually the official licensed games for the Jaws movie and with Connect2Media porting it over to Android, we too will have the enjoyment of fighting against the Great White Shark who can eat boats and hopefully we will live. While there is no official release date just yet as to when this will land on the Android Market but a time frame of six weeks is being tossed around right now so you won't have to wait long.

Features (subject to change, based off the iOS features):

  • Casual and intuitive touch-based game
  • Survival and Campaign Mode
  • Touch, drag and flick swimmers to beaches and boats out of the way of Jaws
  • 10 challenging levels with a climactic final battle between man and shark
  • The Academy Award ® winning theme from John Williams brings the intensity of Jaws to life on your Android device

Pricing has also not been announced yet as well but it could follow the pricing of the iOS version which is $1.99. Either way as more information becomes available, we will be sure to update! Until then, enjoy the screenshots. The question is, will it be as good and fun like Hungry Shark is where you play as the shark and eat people.
