Three days ago we reported on a great new game coming to Android called The Marbians from Nordisk Film. Well some great news today for everyone who has been waiting for this game to arrive. It is now here and you can grab it off the Android Market right now.

The Marbians are an alien species who crash landed in Roswell, New Mexico and to get their way back to their ship and back home they have to get through 75 levels of physics puzzles that are increasingly difficult as you progress further into the game. All your controls are swipe gesture so having good aim and a delicate touch can come in handy.

Features:

  • 75 Levels
  • Nice retro graphics and soundtrack
  • Swipe controls for moving your Marbian
  • Highscore and Trophy sharing through Facebook
  • OpenFeint integration

This is actually a pretty addictive game as it has all the qualities of a hit like Cut the Rope but with a nice retro feel to it. The release is a bit different than what was previously reported on. There are more levels and instead of coming in a free lite version to try out and a paid full version, it's just one free full version on the Android Market. That means there really is no reason to not go out and give this game a whirl for all you puzzle game fans out there.

Update: Just a quick note. The Marbians is actually not free anymore. It's free for the first 6 levels and then you have to purchase the full game through an in-game payment to unlock the rest. However, if you downloaded the game right away, you lucked out and got a full free version
