Since the announcement and release of Cut the Rope: Experiments which is the second game in the Cut the Rope series, many Android gamers have been wondering if it would make the jump to Android. Well in an interview with IGN, Zeptolabs gives the answer.

So what is the answer to this question? Yes! Unfortunately though the developers, Zeptolabs, would not comment on exactly when that will be. If you haven't done any reading yet on what this new Cut the Rope game will feature, we've got all the details for you. If you've played the first Cut the Rope game, which was recently released on Android, then you already have an idea of what comes with Cut the Rope: Experiments. There will be all the rope cutting goodness that you've come to enjoy in the original game. However, Zeptolabs has introduced two new gameplay mechanics into this new Cut The Rope physics game that will really shake things up a bit.

The first new gameplay mechanic is the addition of a button which will allow you to shoot another rope to the candy that Om Nom enjoys eating so much. Called the Static button, it takes some seriously good timing to get good at this new feature. This can be used in plenty of ways such as attaching the rope to the swinging candy in order to have it swing in a complete different direction and angle once you cut the original rope.

The second addition is that of a suction cup which you can use to stick (and un-stick) to the background of the game. This suction cup, which connects to the candy with a rope, serves as an anchor allowing you to change the trajectory of your candy mid-drop. In some levels you will even have to use two of these suction cups to complete the level and get Om Nom his candy.

So while iOS gamers are enjoying Cut the Rope Experiments, us Android gamers have to wait a bit longer before it lands on the Android Market. Hit the link below to check out the entire interview with Zeptolabs. Nom Nom Nom...
