Good news today for anyone who is already play the Facebook version of King's Bounty: Legions which we reported on yesterday. You may remember that in our original post that we reported that it would not be compatible with the Facebook version. Well that isn't the case it seems.
Nival Interactive got in touch with us about the previous article and wanted to clarify the whole cross-platform compatibility issue with Facebook. In the statement, which you can read below, Nival Interactive clarifies that King's Bounty: Legions will indeed be cross-platform compatible with the mobile versions coming out soon. That means anyone who is already playing the Facebook version won't have to start over again regarding all things PvE related. This also means that there will be a much larger pool of players for PvP combat as well.
First of all we want to thank you for visiting Nival during gamescom last week. We really hope you had a great time experiencing “Kings Bounty: Legions” and “Prime World” in action. Furthermore we would like to again outline a special feature for “Kings Bounty: Legions” that was previously described incorrectly by different outlets: All mobile versions of Kings Bounty: Legions are fully compatible with players joining in from Facebook. The goal for Nival was to have all the Kings Bounty: Legions-users playing on the same servers to increase the pool of foes for matchmaking and the team really achieved this for all platforms from iOS to Android and tablet to desktop.
Nothing like a little good news to start off a Tuesday morning with. For any of our readers who are currently playing the Facebook version, this should make you very happy.
