Yes, the title is correct and we haven't been eating any glue this morning... well not yet anyways. Sega has announced that it will be bringing Sonic CD over to Android. Sonic CD was the Mega CD edition of one of the classic Sonic the Hedgehog games.
Another interesting thing to note which will please all the purists out there when it comes to retro games, the press release specifically states that the Japanese soundtrack for Sonic CD will be included with this version that is being released. Some of the soundtracks from back in the day were pretty awesome. If you also own an major console, you'll be pleased to know that this will also be coming to XBox Live and the Playstation Network. You'll be able to play on the go then at home as well!
For anyone going to Pax Prime, Sonic CD for Android and all other systems will be making it's debut there so definitely check it out and let us know what it's like. No word yet on an exact release date. For now, enjoy the video of the old Sonic CD intro.
