There's a PC game out there called Icebreakers by Xibalba Studios which actually came out this past April. In Icebreakers, you are playing a kart racing-style game except you will be using fancy sleds with steering wheels while you race through courses of snow and ice.

Just like kart racing games as well you will have your selection of power-ups and special abilities that you can use in order to smash the competition and win on your journey to becomes the Icebreaker champion. So why are we telling you about this game? Because the developers are already working on bringing Icebreakers to Android (and iOS for that matter). While most of the features found in the PC version shouldn't be too difficult to bring over to mobile, there is one feature we are hoping makes the jump as well: arena style multiplayer online.

Features (PC):

• Smooth curved ice trails and physics.
• 6 playable characters (+ 2 bonus characters), all with unique vehicles and special moves.
• Special items and Power-ups.
• Single player story mode.
• 5 game modes.
• 10 levels, each taking the player to fantastic new locations.
• Arena style multiplayer online combat.

So when can you get your hands on Icebreakers by Xibalba? Well currently they are still working on bringing it to mobile and so all that was mentioned was that Icebreakers will be available in 2012. Until then though, enjoy this trailer from the PC version below. In case you're wondering, yes those trails behind your cart are like the ones in Tron and you can use those to take out your opponents!
