Neat platformer called Splot will be coming to Android shortly

Another mobile game developer coming from Finland is gearing up to release another game onto the Android Market called Splot. Frozenbyte has let it be known that they plan to bring this neat little platformer game over to Android in the next month or two.

Meshing physics and platform gameplay, Splot has you control a little blob-like character with one eye called Splot. You'll be navigating him through various levels, collecting stars while avoiding obstacles and other things that are in your way. Splot isn't along though in his journey. Sometimes a little fairy named Nettie will show up to help you along the way by performing actions such as catching certain objects you may need to use.

While the game is still in development, Frozenbyte has said that at launch Splot will have 3-4 worlds with each world containing 20 levels. That's a lot of content to enjoy right away. If you like a little extra info about these indie games we talk about, here you go! Originally Splot was being developed for the Nintendo DS and the actual demo version our friends over a Pockett saw at GamesCom was running on a Nokia N900. Splot may also be appearing soon on other platforms such as the Vita and 3DS.

Splot is supposed to be available sometime over the next couple of month. No word just yet on pricing. We would love to see some of Frozenbyte's other games get ported to mobile as well.
